After being in the Netherlands for about 4 months due to COVID-19, it was time to pack our bags and resume our digital nomad life. We were allowed to make this trip to Strasbourg, a small town in the north of France. Max\u2019s sister also lives here with her boyfriend in a super nice apartment downtown.

Strasbourg is the capital of the Grand Est region, which was previously Alsace. The European Parliament also meets in Strasbourg to meet. Strasbourg is close to the German border and used to belong to Germany, this can also be seen by the 2 cultures that come together in the streets of Strasbourg.

The 4 days that we have been in Strasbourg, we have enjoyed the beauties together with Max\u2019s sister, we have listed which areas of the city are worth disappearing and discovering.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

PETITE FRANCE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Petite France is the touristic the city center, the cute streets, canals, and well-maintained half-timbered houses give the area a Romantic look. You will find a lovely restaurant where you can eat a delicious Apple strudel with your coffee, or you can shop service in the small art bouquets.

Petite France got the name around the 20th century, so it is not a famous district, because of the river I\u2019ll become the area in 3 small islands, this has been given the name Petite France.

Because of COVID-19, the museums\/excursions were not yet open, but it is certainly worthwhile to make a boat trip on the canals. TIP: do this when it is dusk, then the Streets are beautifully lit, and it makes a romantic look from the water.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

EAT FLAMMEKUECHE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Let\u2019s say this is the \u201cPizza\u201d of Strasbourg, you can eat delicious Flammekueche everywhere. Flammekueche is a puff pastry base covered with various toppings, often cream with bacon and cheese.<\/p>

The dish was created by the farmers, they used to bake their bread once a week, and to see if the oven is hot enough, they put the dough close to the fire. Later in 1960 when the Pizza trend came, Flammekueche became a true regional dish.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
